HK Women Junior Team Returns from Amman with 4 Golds and 2 Silvers

Over 100 athletes from 13 teams competed at the Asian Cup Junior Championships Amman 2025. The Hong Kong, China delegation, fielding only a women's team, concluded all events today (23 August) with an outstanding haul.

The junior squad has had a packed summer. The Asian Cup Junior Championships Hong Kong 2025 was cancelled under a No. 10 typhoon signal, and the team's performance at the subsequent Asian Cup Junior Championships Macau 2025 left much to be desired. After adjusted training, they recovered in time and triumphed in Jordan's capital Amman with 4 golds and 2 silvers.

Tang Suet-yiu and Mak Ching-man took gold in the Women's -48kg and -63kg categories respectively. Ho Sum-yin and Lau Wai-sum swept gold and silver in the Women's -52kg, while Lau Wan-lok and Chan Tsz-ki claimed the top two places in the Women's -57kg.

The six athletes delivered a brilliant summer of results and will next prepare for the World Junior Championships in Lima, Peru.
